Inviting and removing people
Adding colleagues, changing roles, offboarding.
Adding someone
Settings → Members → Invite.
You provide their email, a name, a role, and an initial password. There is no self-service signup — accounts are created by an administrator, deliberately, so nobody appears in an organization without someone deciding they should.
Send them the password over something other than email, and have them change it at Settings → Account after signing in.
Changing a role
Settings → Members → change role. Immediate, and it also changes what any API keys they created can do.
Removing someone
Settings → Members → Remove.
Removing a person:
- Ends their sessions
- Disables their API keys
- Leaves their private content in place, visible to nobody
Before removing, check Members → personal content to see how much private content they own, and decide what should happen to it. Once they are gone, that content is nobody's — recoverable by an administrator, but not automatically.
Recommended order for offboarding
- Check what private content they own
- Reassign or remove anything the team still needs
- Remove the person
- Confirm their keys no longer appear under Settings → API keys
